Beginnings

Having discovered the many benefits of ceremonial cacao in daily life, we embarked on a trip to El Salvador, on a mission to share these benefits with the world. A mission to make ceremonial cacao more convenient & accessible and reintroduce the ancient power of this indigenous plant medicine.

We teamed up with a holistic health coach, a food taster, a doctor & other inspired minds to create a delicious & healthy drink. Thus Wão was born.

Ethics

We work with a small family finca (farm) in the highlands of El Salvador, recognised for its ethical practices, and we supplement their ceremonial cacao with organic ingredients.

Our mission is to nurture empathy in the workplace. We embody this in the way we work at Wão by fostering a friendly & collaborative environment, providing opportunities for peoples’ light to shine.

For example, at Wão, we work with a community ownership model, allowing people in our community to offer their creativity and be a part of our project. We also work with less abled workers in both our packaging facility & our fulfilment center.
